I am the Mark Kac Postdoctoral Fellow in Applied Mathematics in the Center for Nonlinear Studies at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
I obtained my PhD in the Applied Mathematics Department at UC Davis, where my advisor was Steve Shkoller.
I work on developing numerical methods for gas dynamics and related hydrodynamical systems.
My research interests include multiscale modeling and simulation, computational shock formation and development, high-resolution shock-capturing methods, adaptive meshing,
vortex methods, and combustion & complex physics.
